Sedgley Park Community Primary School

Spent 3 years teaching at Sedgley Park as Year 6 teacher and Deputy Head Teacher. 1979 - 1982. A happy time.

When you get to the end of your life you have only hindsight and a part of my past is this school which was my life between 1966 and 1973. Things have moved on but i still look back with fond memories. Alan Cave? A big influence in my life, what a teacher. I remember all of them. I went on to Bury grammar and Manchester university but Kings road school (sorry but that was the hated name which everybody except Mr Grimes used in those days) was my formative life. I would love to revisit and see the changes. Where I fell over and got stitches, where Peter Bambroffe got stung by a wasp. To you stupid irrelevant nonsense, to me ..........?

This school is the best. Everyone cares for you and wants you to do well. The teachers are kind and are always willing to have a chat and cheer you up. I got brilliant SATs results because of these teachers and I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that works in Sedgely Park for making me a huge part of who I am now

Fab school and fab staff!

I AM GOING INTO Y6 AND AM VERY EXCITED BUT I WILL MISS Y5 . AS IT IS MY LAST YEAR AT THIS SCHOOL I AM UPSET THAT WE ARE NOT TOGETHER AS THERE IS A Y5 Y5/Y6 AND Y6 . IN Y5 MY FAVOURITE TOPIC WAS SPACE AS I LEARNT ALOT IN THAT TOPIC . I WILL MISS MR SKELTON AND MRS FRYMAN AS A TEACHER . I CANT BELEIVE THIS TIME NEXT YEAR I WILL BE READY TO GO HIGH SCHOOL . SEDGLEY WAS A BRILLIANT SCHOOL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO EVERYONE
